Remote Appearances

Alpine County Superior Court Local Rules of Court, Rules 1.7.4 and 1.7.5  allow for remote appearances under certain circumstances.

The court may require any person to appear in person if the court determines that an in-person appearance would materially assist in the determination of the proceeding or, in the effective management or resolution of the case; or, the court cannot ensure that the person’s remote appearance will have the privacy and security necessary to preserve the confidentiality of the proceeding.
